I grew up on a farm near Badger, SD. I graduated from Arlington High School in 2016. After high school, I headed to DSU where I received my Bachelors of Mathematics Education in May of 2020. I am going into my third year teaching high school math at Hamlin High School in Hayti, SD. This year I will also be coaching Oral Interp. I am currently enrolled in the MSET program at DSU and will finish summer of 2022. In my free time I like to travel. This year I made it to Rapid City, Memphis, Nashville, and Sarasota, Florida! Next summer I am hoping to go to Denmark and a few other places in Europe. I also like to bake. My mom, my sister and I sell some baked goods at the Lucky Day Sale in Lake Nordan, SD. In the summer we make lemon bars, almond bars, and scotcheroos... and whatever else sounds good. Our best sellers are the soft salted carmels we make around Christmas. Last year I got a dog, his name is Waylon, and he eats everything he can get his mouth around... including the floor of his dog house. There has been a bit of a learning curve, but thanks to durable chew toys most of that has been stopped. He likes to go on walks, runs, and loves everyone he meets. |
